St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church is excited to announce a special voter registration drive on Sunday, September 8, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. This event aims to encourage eligible citizens to make their voices heard in the upcoming general election.
“Participating in the electoral process is a fundamental way to shape our community and our future,” said The. Rev Joseph Graumann, pastor at St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church. “We want to make it as easy as possible for people to register to vote, and we’re thrilled to offer a free small water ice to everyone who comes out to take part.”
The registration process is quick and straightforward, with on-site assistance available to guide attendees through the steps. To be eligible to register, participants must meet the following criteria:
Be a United States citizen
Be at least 17 years old (voting eligibility begins at age 18)
Have been a resident of the county for at least 30 days before the election
Not be serving a sentence for an indictable offense under state or federal law
This event underscores St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church’s commitment to civic engagement and community involvement. Volunteers will be on hand to assist with registration forms and answer any questions attendees may have.
“Whether you’re a first-time voter or need to update your registration, we’re here to help you get prepared,” Pastor Joe added. “And of course, we’re looking forward to seeing everyone enjoy their free water ice as a small thank you for participating!”
